Painted Lady is a variegated climbing Philodendron. It’s a favorite for Philodendron collectors. According to the University of Florida, this Philodendron species is a hybridof two-parent Philodendrons, P. Erubescens Burgundy plant, and P. Erubescens Emerald Queen plant. It  will prefer dry soil conditions, so choose a well-draining potting soil and always allow your plant to dry out between watering. This tender plant loves warm environments.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. It will, however, survive in lower light and the leaves will turn a darker green. Direct sun or too much light will burn or fade the leaves.

Water: Water when 100% of soil is dry.

We recommend  Bottom-watering, sometimes called reverse watering, is when you place a plant in a bowl of water, allowing the soil and roots to soak water from the bottom up. (Naturally, your pot needs to have drainage holes for this to work.)

Humidity: 55%-80%

Temperature: Your plant will grow well in temperatures between 65-80 degrees during the day and above 55 degrees at night.

Food: Feed once a month during spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Feed every other month during the fall and winter.

Toxicity: Philodendron leaves are toxic to pets and humans. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. It will, however, survive in lower light and the leaves will turn a darker green.
